For All Your Celebrating Needs

In 2018 we tried growing (and making) wreaths. They were pretty great, because all of the materials in them were grown by us (or occasionally foraged by us), meaning they were never sprayed with anything except rainwater. They were woven together without wires or glue.  Each one had a tag with an "ingredients" list, so you got to see what all is in them.  And when they were done, you could (really) throw them in the compost pile or green waste bin and they'd turn back into dirt. We were especially proud of including a few feathers from our ducks (molted, not pulled!), some baby watermelons, and some of our own homegrown heirloom green cotton (hand spun into yarn) in some of the designs. We do mark all wreaths Non Edible, as not all of the materials are edible and even the ones that usually are have not been handled as carefully as our produce for the table.

Since 2018 we have periodically offered these uplifting winter decorations by request. We also offer grapevine by the foot if you'd like to make your own. Need English ivy? Maypop vines? Just reach out on our What We Do page to see what's available.
